What this policy covers
This policy lists the cookies and similar technologies (local storage and session storage in your browser) that Builders Zone uses on https://builders.zone, what each one does and how long it stays. Our Privacy Policy at /privacy explains what we do with the data.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose categories; rejecting is as easy as accepting. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland (and when we cannot tell where you are), analytics cookies are used only after you accept them; until you choose, we count visits without storing anything on your device: our server derives an identifier from your IP address and browser that changes every day and cannot be turned back into your IP address, and the IP address is not stored. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are used until you reject them. If you reject analytics, we stop measuring your visits in your browser and remove our analytics cookies and campaign details. Marketing cookies are only used after you accept them, everywhere. You can change your choice at any time with the "Change cookie settings" button on this page, or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Analytics
We measure how the site and the members' platform are used with RudderStack, which we host ourselves, so these events go to builders.zone and our own servers, not to an analytics company. Everything in this table follows your choice as described under "Your choice", whether or not you are signed in. When you are signed in, the actions you take on the platform are also recorded on our servers, without cookies, as part of providing the service. We never record what you type.

Marketing

We only pass sign-ups and purchases on to advertising platforms if you accept marketing cookies.
Payments
Cohort seats and app access are paid on Stripe's own checkout pages (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud, for example __stripe_mid (1 year) and __stripe_sid (30 minutes). See Stripe's cookie policy at https://stripe.com/cookie-settings.

When we add or remove a cookie, we update this page and the date at the top.
